Whereas African-American motorcyclists and other minorities have had a long history of riding motorcycles it has been largely unrecognized by commercial interest and mainstream America.  It forms this association as representative of its place in the motorcycling culture.

​Whereas segments of the motorcycle community are scattered, the association forms to bridge gaps and combine membership into one body.

​ 

Whereas its constituency is divided, as clubs are inherently competitive by nature i.e. Compete for members, attendance at events, alignment with sponsors, charities, etc.; the association shall serve as an umbrella organization where all member clubs and independent motorcyclists can be recognized and served without bias.

​ 

Whereas the association derives from the African-American community, membership is open and encouraged from all ethnicities and nationalities.

​ 

Whereas commercial interest shall recognize World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association as a national body; to develop meaningful relationships and bridge gaps to deliver results and achieve common goals.

​ 

Whereas clubs and other organizations exist, World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association will not seek to replace or reduce their effectiveness but to enhance and add value to their motorcycling proposition. The advantage of the World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association is a national presence that can complement and enhance the current benefit package (if any) offered by clubs and local coalitions to their members.

Whereas the American Motorcyclist Association has been a longstanding majority organization meeting the needs of traditional motorcycle riders, AMA does not have a presence in urban communities. 

Whereas World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association has been addressing issues significant to the community and encouraging connectivity with commercial entities and community organizations, it makes its impact in areas not served by the majority organization.

Whereas the American Motorcyclist Association has been in existence since 1924 and has amassed a membership base of 225,000 members, there is an opportunity to fill a void in the marketplace and achieve comparable membership volume.  There are currently over 8.3 million motorcyclists in the US.

​ 

Whereas talks between the American Motorcyclist Association and World of Soul® Motorcycle Community to create a joint membership through a co-branded affinity card ceased, the World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association emerged as the solution to generating needed revenue by allowing World of Soul® members the opportunity to combine their resources through membership and receive redeemable value through its programs.

Whereas there exist cultural differences, World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association shall encourage their members to combine its numbers to achieve significant leverage for the benefit of its constituency and commercial interest seeking to market to this unique group.

Whereas World of Soul® Motorcycle Community has amassed a number of programs; these programs shall benefit the motorcycle community, the motorcycle industry and the community at large.

Whereas World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association stems from the World of Soul® Motorcycle Community; Riders United to Serve Humanity® shall serve as an intermediary between the organizations to deliver said services and programs.

​ 

The undersigned members declare these values to be affirmed by their signatures to propel this organization into motion and fulfill its underlying goals and objectives.
