Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE to King Center for Non-Violent Social Change

Hundreds of World of Soul Motorcycle Community members lined up for a motorcade escort from Harley-Davidson of Atlanta to the King Center for Non Violent Social Change.

The motorcade led by Cobb County Sheriff and Atlanta Police Motor Units ushered the long procession of motorcyclists

participating in Ride for CHANGE-Ride for HOPE.

Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE is the signature riding event and programmatic thrust behind World of Soul Motorcycle Community.

At the conclusion of the ride, Terry Hardy, founder of World of Soul Motorcycle Community made a presentation after laying a wreath at the crypt housing the remains of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He remarked, “I want to thank everybody for supporting our initiatives at WORLDOFSOULMC.COM.

When we started the social network there were just a few words that have remained true since we began, and those words are, “Together all things are possible”.

Dr. King and his associates and the coalition of men, women, clergy and businessmen that were a part of the civil rights movement , average people.

They came together for a common cause and they moved in unison, in harmony with each other for a goal that we benefit from today.

And I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thank you Dr. King, and ask of us to pick up where they left off at.

Back then they were being oppressed by another race and here we are today being oppressed by our own race.

And so now we find ourselves in another human rights movement. It’s an adjustment within ourselves that’s necessary in order for us to get the real benefit of what Dr. King and others fought so hard for.

That’s all that we want to bring attention to. Is that and to stop the violence; to seek alternative means to conflict resolution. That there is another way.

Dr. King and others proved that that was possible. Thank you all for coming.”
